It’s been a sentimental week with the loss of a loved one. I’ve spent a lot of time looking through old photographs and it reminded me of this website that perfectly reflects how I feel. It’s called: Dear Photograph.
Dear Photograph,
The steps of the past, lead us to the present.

Dear Photograph,
Can you tell him to turn around? I wanna see that cute little baby face again.

The only vivid memories we have are in the form of photographs.
I found this site to be rather thought provoking, with a sense of nostalgia for the past, but the greatest emotion – was being truly thankful for technology. Cameras have the ability to remind you where you’ve been, bring you back to a moment frozen in time that you may not even recall. Things change through time, but photography allows you to capture the essence of what was – if only, to teach you what is.
I’m sorry to hear about your loss. <3 and hugs. So true…photos are so important for helping us remember.
thank you Ania!
Sorry for your loss, Mila. My thoughts are with you!
thank you Parita!
Wow, I’m like balling my eyes out over here! I just lost a loved one too, and maybe my emotions are just running high. But those photographs also touched my heart. I want to try taking a photo like this now. Thank you for sharing! And I am SO sorry for your loss!

This is such a beautiful idea. I’m also so sorry to hear that you’re dealing with loss right now. I’ve been going through a similarly emotional time and it’s so rough. Thinking of you and thanks for this great website!
Thank you Kacy! I had mentioned on your blog that it’s been a tough month and it did not end well. But i’m so glad to hear your grandma is better, enjoy every moment you have with her!
