Last month Birchbox emailed me and asked me to pick whether I would like to choose the regular March Birchbox or try the Teen Vogue sponsored box instead.
Since I loved the Vichy sponsored Birchbox, I decided to try the Teen Vogue one, and I’m glad I did!
The contents included:
My favorite item was the full size Tarte matte lip tint! It’s so subtle, yet kind of retro with it’s matte texture. I absolutely love it and would purchase this product, when I run out.
My second favorite was the full size glittery Essie top coat. It was really nice to have a month off from face washes/face masks! Each Birchbox could include a lip product and a nail polish and I’d be one happy customer!
Just those two full size items alone would have cost me way more than $10, and make my subcription so worth it and hard to quit!
What is Birchbox? Birchbox is a monthly subscription of high-end beauty product samples. For $10 a month you get a box of 4-5 of hand-picked sample products (based on an online questionnaire) shipped to your door, with tips and tutorials of how to use them. Did you get the Teen Vogue box? What did the regular Birchbox contain?
I had the Hair Tyes and Twirl in my first box…hopefull the girls who got the Teen Vogue box didn’t get the one I got. :S they will have duplicates. Love the nail polish though.
No the non full size extras are always mixed and matched. So since I haven’t gotten them yet, I got them as extras this time.
I opted for the Teen Vogue box this time, too, and was very happy with mine! My box was a little different — I got the Tarte tint, too, but in a dark red color. My Essie polish (full-sized! YAY!) is a silver glitter — so pretty! I actually squealed when I opened it. Like you, every box could include a lip and nail product and I’d be happy . . . those are my two favorite things!
I also got a hair tie, perfume sample (I forget which, but it smells good) and some oil-blotting sheets. Overall, a definite win!

The Tarte Matte Lip Tint looks so cute. I’m always interested to see what you guys get in your boxes compared to the UK versions. We don’t get Birchbox but have Glossybox which is something similar and this month is a special Harrods sponsored box!

My friend uses that Tarte stuff and it’s amazing. I have so many lip glosses and lipsticks though that I feel bad buying any more… especially since I almost never use anything but Burt’s Bees!
haha I know what you mean. All I use is Carmex but I”m a sucker for buying lip glosses. I’m trying to put them in different purses so that I remember to use them more often!

I love Essie! It’s weird how obsessed I’ve become with nail polish as of late. I say this as my nails are quite naked (whoops!).
I know it girl. I had to put a freeze on my polish purchasing because I need to use the ones I have and paint my nails more often!
I got the same Birchbox as you! Everyone seems to have loved the Tarte lipsurgence but I wasn’t a fan…maybe it was just the wrong color/texture for my skin? Anyway I’m so glad I stumbled across your blog, I love all of your posts
