The fall Birchbox has arrived! This month’s theme is “products that help prep and polish skin, body, and hair”.
My favorite product from this box is the Laura Geller tinted primer. I have heard of people loving it before, and I was so excited to try it for myself!
I really love it and this is a serious contender for my first full product purchase through Birchbox. If you buy a product during the month you received it, shipping is free. Also, by reviewing all the products I’ve received and some referrals I have given out (thanks girls!) I have racked up some points to get the full item for free!
My second favorite is the lip serum.
It feels great, adds shine, and keeps lips moist. It’s a great base for a lipstick/gloss or just on its own.
The item I am most curious/confused about is the Beauty Elixer.
I know it’s for hair, but I have no idea how to use it and will have to take advantage of the product tutorials Birchbox has on its website.
The other two products: the face wash and the softening detergent are pretty standard and I have yet to try them out. Overall, I am pleased with this month’s Birchbox.
What is Birchbox? Birchbox is a monthly subscription of high end beauty product samples. For $10 a month you get a box of 4-5 of hand-picked sample products (based on an online questionnaire) shipped to your door, with tips and tutorials of how to use them. It is a fun way to try new products and discover what you love without the commitment of sky-high luxury prices to do so.

As always, if you are interested in signing up, click here!
If you got an October Birchbox, what was in yours that was different from mine?
I might have to finally sign up for the birch box! I always read your posts on them and never actually sign up due to nothing but laziness! I love that the boxes are custom based on your answers!!!
yeah it’s pretty fun! it’s interesting comparing what I got to what other friends got. there are 5 different boxes, and some of the best rated products come back to people that didn’t get them. like the mascara I got last month, many people got it this month that didn’t get it before.
Actually there are a total of 17 boxes
I love that it’s called spackle
I’m thinking the elixier is a frizz tamer??? If so, I could use a gallon of it!
Oh man, I went online and they only ship to the U.S. That makes me SO sad, I’d love to find something like this for Canada, ahaha! You got some really amazing products in here, I am wicked jealous. I’ve been dying to try the spackle.
i’ve never heard of a birchbox before ~ but it sounds so cool ~ may have to check into this!!

Mm… fun! You must have so much stuff piled up from all these boxes
It’s really not that bad because they are small so some are only 1 or 2 uses. Other things I put in my travel makeup bag (like face wash)!
My Birchbox was pretty similar to yours, except I got an “essential oils for skin” sort of product and also a moisturizer for dry and cracked feet (gross, but necessary!). I haven’t tried the Laura Geller primer yet, but I’m also excited to use it! And I got a leave-in conditioner in mine that’s been working well, too. I’m happy with this one as well! Happier than my first box, even.
ooh I wish I got the leave in conditioner, I would have liked to try that… maybe next month, I noticed they swap things around (like the mascara) I think eventually everyone got that!
One of my cousins gifted me a 3 month subscription to Birchbox for my birthday and the first package should be arriving soon! Every month when you post these I get so excited to see what you were sent so I think you can guess that I can’t wait to blog about it too
I’ve recently discovered the magic of primers and that spackle stuff looks fantastic… and the hair oil… I’m more than a little obsessed with hair products lol
xx
oh Birchbox is such a great gift! I look forward to seeing what you get!!
